Dr Sandeep Reelh is a UK and Australia-trained Consultant Psychiatrist with over a decade of clinical experience in mental health. He began his psychiatry training in the North East of England (Newcastle upon Tyne) and obtained Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) in 2020. He later pursued advanced training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry in Australia and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP).
Dr Reelh has worked extensively across both the UK and Australia in a variety of settings, including community mental health teams and tertiary hospitals. Currently practising in Queensland, he brings a depth of experience in assessing and managing a broad range of psychiatric conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and ADHD, with particular focus on complex presentations involving co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders (dual diagnosis) as well as psychogeriatrics.
Committed to ongoing education and research, Dr Reelh has co-authored several peer-reviewed journal articles and presented at both national and international psychiatric conferences. He has received awards for excellence in teaching, including the Undergraduate Formal Teacher of the Year award from his deanery in the UK for his work with medical students. He remains actively engaged in mentoring junior doctors and students, helping to shape the next generation of mental health professionals.
