About Omega Mind Clinics
At Omega Mind Clinic, we are firm believers in being guided by the patient’s specific wants and needs. We work in partnership with family and carers where appropriate, to reach the best health outcomes, together.
We use a ‘biopsychosocial model’ to help identify and diagnose patients’ conditions, which involves a holistic view of physical, mental social, cultural and spiritual context that influence our health and wellbeing. This method has proven success in better understanding a patient’s condition and unique treatment needs.
Our entire team prides itself on spending time with our patients, to really ‘get to know’ a patient before developing a personalised treatment plan, which is especially important for new patients seeing a psychiatrist for the first time.
All our patients can be assured that their time and financial investment in their health will be well spent, without a rushed diagnosis or treatment plan.
Psychiatrists - Springfield Central
Update June 2025: Please note our psychiatrists wait times have increased substantially and unfortunately, we can not guarantee that your referral will be accepted due to capacity of the available doctors.
We appreciate your understanding.
Policy for Scripts, Documents & Non-Consultation Requests
We expect patients to be mindful to discuss with doctors any scripts and documentation they need, these things need to be addressed on the day of the appointment. Any out of allocated appointment requests cause disruption in the clinicians work and take extra time. We are hoping that patients will be mindful of this. We have implemented the below changes to streamline things for everyone.
- Any scripts requested out of clinic hours will be charged at $50
- Any documents requested out of the allocated clinic will be charged at $75
- Doctors might request a brief phone call charged at normal consult rate to discuss the above, this will be at the discretion of the doctor
- Patients who have not been seen in the last 3-6 months will require a regular appointment to discuss anything including renewals for scripts or reports.
We are not an urgent service; any urgent matter needs to be addressed with GP or patient needs to call helpline or present to Hospital.
